Amplification Service & Repair

Sam Hubbard

I work on the following terms (unless an alternative arrangement is made):

  • I charge a £25 basic fee to open up the unit, work out what’s wrong and fix it if it takes less than an hour.
  • If I can’t get it fixed in less than an hour, it’s £20 per hour after that – I should be able to give you a good idea as to how much it will cost
  • I’ll let you know if it looks like it might work out more expensive to repair than to buy a replacement.
  • I include small parts, such as fuses etc. in my hourly rate.  Bigger things like valves, transformers etc. will be charged in addition to my hourly rate.
  • In the unlikely event that I can’t tell what’s wrong with your amp or I fail to fix it, only the basic fee is payable regardless of time spent.
  • Payment is strictly cash on collection of the repaired unit.
  • I’ll let you know exactly what I’ve done and how long it’s taken.
  • I will not unfix anything else while fixing it – although I cannot guarantee that another part will not fail tomorrow!
  • And if I fail on any of the above, then I will put it right free of charge.

Shipping

  • I can pick up and drop back units to the EXR Rehearsal Rooms.
