Revise Café Bar, Chorlton
Acoustic nights every Wednesday, was home to the EXR THE CLASH solo and duo competition. Jam Session every Sunday, 5pm - 9pm.
One Lounge, West Didsbury
Live Lounge event every Sunday at One Lounge, 1 Lapwing Lane, West Didsbury.
One Lounge is an independent bar offering a range of wines, cocktails and world beers in a relaxed and funky atmosphere.
Iguana, Chorlton
Destiny Bites event every Thursday at Iguana, 115-117 Manchester Road, Chorlton.
The Iguana Bar has perfected its chilled vibe, says the Guardian's student guide to Manchester, especially since the opening of the lounge area. The venue has given people a platform to perform and is used by a mixture of entertainers i.e. Jazz, Acoustic, Reggae, Latin, Poetry, Folk, are just a view and too many to mention in the diverse and unique set-up.
Red Lion, Withington
Weekly live covers bands play at this favourite venue on Wilmslow Road. Ran February/March 2007, hopefully returning in full in September.
